Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) Workshop Offerings

Instructors can attend APPQMR workshops through Distance Education or directly through Quality Matters(QM). QM offers synchronous and asynchronous workshops on a regular basis.

Got a student with an Incomplete needing extended access in D2L? Developing a course and received permission to view another's for inspiration?

Integrations Update
When using a publisher's Gradebook sync with D2L, be sure to check the "Can Exceed"
box on the Grade Item if you plan to award more than the maxium point in their systems
Feature Update
The Start Date and End Date for a quiz will now appear on the Calendar for students
as separate events.

Zoom Scheduling Fields
Two new fields have been added to the Zoom Meeting Scheduling form:
1. The Attendees field does not work for our 365bet Education account setup, and we
cannot remove the field from our form per Zoom. Please do not us the Attendees field
as it will not not send a meeting invitation. Continue to invite attendees as you
normally would.
2. The Meeting Purpose field is a new required field for a meeting or webinar. Select one option based on the meeting's purpose. For example, a departmental staff meeting would be considered "University Business". You will not be able to schedule a meeting without making a selection.
Zoom's New Presenter View
Screen-sharing presenter layouts combine your video and shared screen to present everything
in one frame to create a more engaging sharing session. The layout options are Traditional,
Side-by-Side, Over the Shoulder and In front of the Content.
Please note: The session recording will not display this presenter view. It will maintain
its traditional format.

Camtasia & Snagit Licenses
Are you looking for ways to improve your screenshots or videos? Distance Education
has licenses available for instructors. Snagit is a screencapture software with features
to enhance your captures for documents or presentations. Camtasia is a screen-recording
software that improves your video presentations. Please contact the Distance Education
departmet at online@ngskmc-eis.net to obtain license and receive instructions on installing he software.

can connect with an online tutor to get the help they need to succeed in their classes.
Test Prep for major exams are also available on the platform. Also, there are Student
Success topics for students to receive expert advice on time management, study skills,
tech, and more!
The service is open to all 365bet students and is accessed through D2L courses under
“Resources” and then “Tutor.com 24/7.” Encourage your students to seek help when they
need it! Data on these sessions are also available to you. Visit the online tutoring website for more information.
