Why study Marketing
A degree in Marketing will prepare students to gather and interpret data that provides direction for creative solutions to meet the needs of a company or consumer. This includes design, pricing, promotions, and distribution.
Students will identify and provide solutions for diverse services and develop global market practices. Career interests may include: Market research, Social Media Marketing, Retail Management, and Advertising.
Faculty in this degree program are academically or professionally qualified and routinely publish their research in some of the top academic journals for business. In addition, many act as consultants within the field with decades of real-world experience.
Faculty-led experiential opportunities provide student access to real-world connections and experiences within the field of Marketing. Experiences include: undergraduate research, industry conferences, guest lectures from industry leaders, and community-based learning. The College of Business provides funding and scholarship opportunities for students to participate in community events, conferences, and networking functions.
